Raja Dhale (born 1950) is an Indian Mahar dalit writer and activist, who was one the original members of the Dalit Panther, started in April 1972, alongside Namdeo Dhasal and Arun Krushnaji Kamble.[1] He belongs to Republican Party of India and leads the Raja Dhale faction, after it split.[2][3]

Career

Raja Dhale fought the 1999 parliament election from the Mumbai North Central constituency on Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangha party ticket, and 2004 parliament elections from Mumbai North East constituency, again on Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangha ticket.[4]
